Four weeks ago, this horse ran well over a Sha Tin 1600m, jumping moderately and settling towards the rear with a steady pace before making ground. A recent dirt trial (1200m: 8-8-6) showed good late speed with a clear run down the straight. After one barrier trial, the horse still needs more work. Stepping up in class to a Sha Tin 2000m race this time, it will carry an additional three pounds. Having won twice over this distance previously and with comparable times among competitors, it has the potential to track the leaders or set the pace. The horse is currently undergoing intensive training, and a clean break should allow the jockey to follow the speed, making it a contender.
