On 14/4, the horse recorded (dirt trial 1200m: 4-4-4), maintaining a good position while tracking along the rail. Five weeks ago, over the same distance, the performance was below expectations; settling in a good position following the pace but with strong pressure from the front, it finished sixth beaten by one and a half lengths. A subsequent barrier trial showed acceptable form. This time benefiting from a 1lb weight reduction, racing against favorable timing within its group, and drawing an inside barrier, the tactics will be to settle back and rely on a finishing kick which is considered strong among its rivals. The horse appears to have a distinct advantage in this race, with good synergy between horse, jockey and trainer; a comfortable win is expected.
