On April 24th, during a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 9-9-9), the horse broke slowly and maintained a following position throughout. Two months prior, in a similar race over the same distance, it performed well; it didn’t jump quickly but settled back, quickened in the middle stages with good acceleration. After a short break, a barrier trial showed limited exertion. The horse has lost 27 pounds in body weight and is debuting after being transferred to this stable. It will carry an additional 20 pounds in this race, its rivals’ times are comparable, and it's expected to run from behind, relying on a strong finishing kick. Despite drawing a less-than-ideal barrier, the horse remains a contender.
