Eight weeks ago, in a straight course race, the horse was extremely disappointing; a slow start saw it settle towards the back with a steady but uninspiring pace and finished poorly. After a short break, two trials did not reveal any improvement. The horse has dropped 44 pounds in weight. Making its Happy Valley mile debut this time with a 2-pound reduction, the distance appears unsuitable and the trainer-jockey combination lacks synergy.
