On April 24th, the horse showed a good response in a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 1-1-2), quickening again in the final section. Four weeks ago, over the same distance, it ran well, taking an early lead and finishing second with strong momentum, only half a length behind. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. This time, the horse is not required to carry additional weight, possesses the best time within its group, and has the potential to track the leaders or even set the pace. The draw is favorable and, comparatively, it boasts superior strength against other contenders. Trainer and jockey are in agreement; a clean break and commitment to tracking the pace should see it perform well.
