On April 11th, a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua saw the horse lead comfortably but faded in the final section. Eight weeks prior, in a race over the same distance, it led but tired noticeably. After a short break, a barrier trial was undertaken, but fitness levels weren’t fully established. This time carrying a three-pound weight reduction, facing horses with similar times, and drawing a poor barrier, the situation is unfavorable. Despite having six wins from 51 starts over this distance, capable of taking an early lead, training has been positive, yet opportunities appear limited.
