Four weeks ago, the horse delivered a strong performance over Sha Tin 1400m, jumping moderately and settling towards the back before making up ground with fast sectionals in the final two furlongs. A recent dirt trial (1200m: 4-3-2) saw the horse surge forward from an inside position, finishing strongly. Another turf trial showed slight improvement. Making its debut after switching stables, it last ran over a Happy Valley 1200m with a three-pound weight reduction but drew a poor barrier. The tactics will likely involve settling back in the field; however, the horse's finishing speed may not be sufficient to compete effectively and is considered unlikely to feature prominently this time.
