Four weeks ago, this horse ran decently over a Happy Valley 1200m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making a mid-race move. He finished eighth, beaten two and a half lengths. Back on the Sha Tin turf over 1200m this time with a one-pound weight reduction, in a comparable class and drawing a favorable barrier, he has the potential to track the pace. Trainer and jockey appear to have good communication; if he jumps cleanly and settles forward, an improved performance is expected.
