Three weeks ago, over a Sha Tin 1400m race, the performance was poor; a slow start saw the horse settle towards the rear. It made an effort in the middle stages but faded badly and finished well-beaten. In a recent turf trial over 1200m, this time with a four-pound weight reduction, the timing compared to other horses in the group isn’t ideal. However, surprisingly AI algorithms suggest it has a chance of performing better than expected; potentially a rough each-way contender.
