On April 24th, in a dirt trial over 1200m (sections recorded as 2-2-2), the horse tracked second but didn’t accelerate willingly down the straight. Four weeks ago, over the same distance, it performed well, jumping moderately and settling towards the rear before making a strong move mid-race with good stamina. A recent barrier trial showed slight improvement. This time carrying two pounds less weight, finishing kick is a concern, and the draw isn’t ideal. However, the overall timing of its group is reasonable, and having secured a favorable barrier position, it can follow the pace if it jumps cleanly and settles well.
