Two weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over a Sha Tin 1800m distance, jumping slowly and settling at the back of the field before making a fast late run in the final two sections to finish fourth. He was beaten only half a length, demonstrating good ability. Now stepping up in class and switching to a Sha Tin 2400m race for his first attempt at this distance, he will carry an additional two pounds this time. This distance is expected to suit him well, drawing an inside barrier. The plan is to settle back and rely on a strong finishing kick – the strongest in the field. He appears to have a favorable position based on his ability and is considered the most outstanding horse in this race; horse and jockey are a good match and working well together.
