It made a mid-race effort but ultimately couldn’t close the gap, finishing fifth beaten two lengths. This time it carries no additional weight but has drawn an outside barrier; its finishing kick is a concern making for an unfavorable setup. Fortunately, the overall speed of the race isn't expected to be too fast, giving it a chance to lead. Trainer and jockey seem compatible, and if it jumps cleanly, it should aim for an early lead.
