Three weeks ago, this horse delivered a poor performance in a dirt mile race, slow to jump and settling towards the rear. He made an effort during the middle stages but was unable to close the gap and finished well-beaten. In a subsequent trial over 1800m at Happy Valley, he will carry two pounds more weight this time. Despite holding his own in terms of sectionals with the group, maintaining a good position tracking the leaders and drawing a favorable barrier, prospects remain challenging.
