On May 8th, a dirt trial over 1200m saw an unremarkable performance with no standout moments. Four weeks ago, in a race over the same distance, the horse ran poorly, slow out of the gate and settling towards the rear with a steady pace but lacking any impressive sections, finishing well-beaten. A subsequent barrier trial yielded no improvement. This time carrying one pound less weight, the relative times in comparison to other horses in the group are unfavorable, and despite drawing a good barrier, chances appear slim.
