On April 29th (dirt trial 1050m: 2-2-2), the horse pushed for second but appeared somewhat strained. On April 8th (turf trial 800m: 2-1-3), it ran a moderate third. On March 27th (dirt trial 1050m: 1-1-5) it broke well from the middle of the pack but softened approaching the gate. On February 7th (dirt trial 1050m: 2-3-5), it had a steady early pace and finished off straightway. Prior to April, its performance in a straight course race was disappointing; slow out of the gate, settling towards the rear with an even pace and lacking a finishing kick, resulting in a significant defeat. After a long layoff, it has completed four trials showing slight improvement. Making its debut over Happy Valley’s shorter distance this time without any additional weight, the distance is unfavorable and the draw isn't ideal. However, securing a good barrier position offers an opportunity to track the pace. A clean break will be key to aiming for a forward run.
