On May 9th, the horse recorded a solid third in a Happy Valley turf trial over 1200m but displayed some immaturity. On April 22nd, during a dirt trial at 1200m, he travelled wide throughout and finished with a reasonable effort after being urged in the final two sections. On March 28th, a grass trial at Conghua over 1200m saw a slow start but steady progress to chase the leaders. On March 10th, during a Conghua turf trial over 1000m, he jumped moderately and maintained pace with light urging. February 24th's Conghua turf trial at 1000m showed an average performance settling near the front and responding to light encouragement. This is an Australian import, predicted to be rated 67 by MA288. He has raced three times overseas, achieving two wins in lower-tier races without missing the trifecta. His last run featured a leading tactic but lacked a strong finish despite winning. Having undergone five trials this season with slight improvement, he makes his Hong Kong debut here; however, concerns exist regarding potential pace pressure and the difficulty of maintaining a lead throughout.
