Three weeks ago, the horse ran well over Sha Tin 2400m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. He showed a strong late run to finish fourth, beaten by one and a half lengths. Last start, he tried Sha Tin 2000m again. This time he will carry an additional sixteen pounds. Having previously won twice over this distance with good times, he’s paired with Zac Purton who has some familiarity with the horse's capabilities. Trainer and jockey are in agreement, training is positive, and the horse is showing improved form. Despite potentially settling towards the rear, his finishing kick may not be strong enough to beat rivals; the situation isn’t entirely favorable, but a forward placing is still possible.
