After a short break, he had one trial which showed slight improvement. Moving up in class now, facing 2000m on the turf for the first time, this race sees a 17-pound weight reduction. The increased distance should suit him, requiring a hold-up tactic and relying on his finishing kick. Connections appear to have confidence in both horse and jockey; expect a late run.
