Three weeks ago, this horse recorded a dirt trial over 1200m in times of 4-4-2, finishing second after a late surge with some urging. Seven weeks prior, over the same distance, the performance was fair; a slow start led to settling towards the rear before making ground in the final two sections at a good pace, beaten three and a half lengths for seventh place. One barrier trial has shown slight improvement. Returning from Conghua training, this horse will carry 18 pounds more weight this time, posting the best time amongst its group. Drawing a favorable barrier, a hold-up tactics are expected with a strong finishing kick being its key asset; it appears to have a clear advantage in this race and is worth considering for inclusion in bets.
