On May 22nd, recorded a dirt trial over 1200m with sectionals of 3-4-3, tracking from an inside barrier in a relaxed manner. Four weeks ago, the horse performed poorly over a Sha Tin mile, slow out of the gate and settling towards the rear with an even pace but lacking a finishing kick. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Another turf trial over 1400m was completed, now with a one-pound weight reduction, posting the fastest time in its group, and drawing an advantageous inside barrier. Based on the horse’s ability, it is considered a strong contender in this race and expected to finish well within the placings.
