Three weeks ago, in a race over the same distance, the performance was disappointing; settled in a good position tracking the leaders and made a move in the middle stages. He finished fifth, beaten two and a half lengths. This time he carries no additional weight and has proven form over this course and distance, with comparable times to horses in the same group. He should be able to track the pace-setters and is capable of leading or taking a forward position. The trainer and jockey have a good rapport; despite drawing an outside barrier, a clean break and a determined effort to secure a good position should see him finish among the leaders.
