Four weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over 2000m on the Sha Tin turf, slow to jump and settling towards the rear. He made a mid-race effort but couldn’t close the gap and finished well-beaten. In a recent trial at Happy Valley over 1800m, he carries no extra weight this time, is expected to race from behind, but lacked a strong finishing kick compared to rivals. While his section times weren't significantly slower than others in the group, drawing a favorable barrier makes him a potential outsider with each-way chances.
