May 30th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 7-7-7) pushed hard during the trial but was underwhelming. May 13th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 8-7-6) encountered some interference in the straight and didn’t show its true potential. May 5th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 5-3-5) showed effort when pushed, but was unremarkable. In March, this horse ran a very disappointing race over Sha Tin mile, slow to jump and settled towards the rear, made a mid-race move but faded badly. After a short break, it underwent three barrier trials without showing significant improvement. Another trial over Sha Tin 1400m, this time with a four-pound weight reduction. This horse has failed in all three previous attempts at this distance and its sectionals are not encouraging compared to rivals. It's likely to settle towards the rear again, but lacks the finishing kick of its opponents, making its prospects unfavorable despite drawing an inside barrier.
