In a subsequent Happy Valley sprint trial, he is set to carry three pounds more this time. He has failed to place in five attempts at this distance and has drawn a poor barrier. Showing limited finishing kick and with an unfavorable trainer-jockey combination, even with comparable times within the stable, he could only manage a good position tracking the leaders. The switch to Karis Teetan offers some familiarity with the horse’s capabilities but prospects remain bleak.
