Three weeks ago, over a Sha Tin 1200m race, the performance was reasonable despite a slow jump and settling towards the rear. The horse showed a strong late run to finish fourth, beaten by one and a half lengths. In a subsequent straight course trial this time without any weight reduction and an unfavourable barrier draw, even with comparable section times, connections are not overly confident. Trainer and jockey maintain moderate trust in each other, but it’s unlikely to be a winning ride this race.
