Two weeks ago, over a Sha Tin 1400m race, the performance was poor with a slow start and settled at the rear. The horse made an effort in the middle stages but lacked the finishing power to recover, resulting in a significant defeat. A turf trial over 1600m followed, this time carrying a three-pound weight reduction. Despite a similar sectional timing as others, the barrier draw is unfavorable. Although having won three times at this distance previously and drawing an inside barrier, it’s unlikely to be competitive this race.
