Six weeks ago in a race over the same distance, the performance was poor; he jumped slowly and settled towards the back with an even pace but no finishing kick, resulting in a significant defeat. A recent barrier trial showed some improvement. Returning from Class drop this time, he will carry 14 pounds more weight than last run, and his sectional times indicate a weak finishing speed. The form is unfavorable, and despite having previous results over this distance, a strong pace isn’t anticipated.
