On May 30th, a turf trial over 1600m at Conghua saw the horse move out from the turn to launch an accelerating sprint, gradually closing ground. Five weeks ago, in a Happy Valley long-distance race, the performance was underwhelming; a slow start led to settling towards the rear, maintaining a steady pace but lacking a strong finish and finishing poorly. A subsequent barrier trial showed satisfactory results. This will be the horse’s debut on the Sha Tin turf over 1800m, carrying a five-pound deduction in weight. However, the distance is unfavorable, creating a challenging situation; this run is considered primarily as a trial.
