On March 6th (turf trial 1000m: 9-7-5), the horse was urged over the final two furlongs, accelerating forward. On May 22nd (dirt trial 1200m: 5-4-2) it accelerated in sections, moving closer to the leaders. On May 9th (Happy Valley turf trial 1000m: 8-8-7), its jump was moderate and didn't extend during the straight. On October 29th (dirt trial 1200m: 9-8-5) it progressed from a mid-barrier position with restrained pace. Before August, in a race over the same distance, it performed well despite a slow start, settling back before finishing strongly in the final two sections, beaten three lengths. After a long break, it has undergone four barrier trials showing slight improvement. This time, no additional weight is carried and its trial times are slower than others in the group, making the prospects unfavorable. Even if settled at the rear, a strong finishing kick offers some potential, although chances appear slim.
