Three weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley 1200m, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He demonstrated a strong late run but was beaten two and a half lengths for sixth place. Returning to Sha Tin over 1400m this time with a one-pound weight reduction, he has previously secured two wins at this distance and holds his own in terms of timing compared to rivals. Expected to challenge for the lead, the jockey understands how to control the horse’s pace. He is showing improved form, however an outside barrier draw presents a disadvantage, and trainer-jockey synergy isn't optimal. A clean break should allow him to contend for a forward position.
