On May 22nd (dirt trial 1200m: 8-7-8), the horse was a little slow to jump and lacked experience in its gait. On May 9th (Happy Valley turf trial 1200m: 7-5-8), it failed to respond when asked for an effort after 300 meters, dropping back. On April 17th (dirt trial 1200m: 9-9-9) the jump was very slow and showed eagerness over 800m but didn’t accelerate in the straight. On March 24th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 7-7-5), it had a clumsy start and settled comfortably tracking the pace. On February 28th (Conghua turf trial 800m: 7-6-6) it ran relaxed without showing its full potential. This is its debut race after arriving in Hong Kong last November. It has undergone five barrier trials this season with no noticeable improvement. Low action, short stride, currently lacking the power to extend properly and demonstrate full acceleration but displays a good fighting spirit. For this first start, it hasn’t been fully prepared; observe its performance before considering further evaluation.
