On June 13th, during a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m (sections: 6-5-8), the horse was intentionally kept back and appeared weaker than others. This horse is a recent winner; four weeks ago in a race over the same distance, it performed decently, jumped slowly and settled towards the rear but showed good acceleration in the middle stages, ultimately winning the race. A subsequent barrier trial revealed it struggled to keep pace with the leaders. For this upcoming race, it will carry an additional seven pounds. It has previously won twice at this distance, posted good times in its work, and is drawn favorably. The jockey appears to have a reasonable understanding of the horse's capabilities, and the trainer and jockey maintain a strong relationship, suggesting another victory is achievable.
