Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley 1800m, slow out of the gate and settling towards the rear with an even pace but no finishing burst, resulting in a significant defeat. A subsequent trial over Sha Tin’s 1400m will see him carry four additional pounds this time. He has failed to place in three previous attempts at this distance, and his sectionals haven't been impressive. Forced to race from the back, he lacks the finishing kick of his rivals and appears disadvantaged despite drawing an inside barrier, even with gate work performed prior to the race.
