On June 12th (dirt trial 1200m: 1-2-2), the horse was calm in the early stages, pushed at the 200m mark and finished a close second. On March 6th (dirt trial 1200m: 1-2-3), it set a fast pace but lacked fluency around the turn. Four weeks ago in a straight course race, the performance was poor with a slow start and settling towards the rear, maintaining an even pace without any finishing burst. Two barrier trials have shown slight improvement. Switching to Sha Tin over 1200m for its first attempt at this distance, it will carry four extra pounds this time. The distance is expected to suit, and it has the potential to lead. An inside draw is favorable, and a clean break should see it push forward for the lead.
