On May 30th, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m (sections: 6-6-1), the horse maintained a straight course with steady pace. Seven weeks ago, in a Happy Valley 1200m race, the performance was poor; he jumped slowly and settled towards the rear, maintaining an even pace without a strong finish. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Another turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin is completed, and this time he will carry three pounds more weight. Times in his group were good, he’s drawn an inside barrier, and preparations have been thorough; connections are showing positive signs.
