On June 13th, a turf trial over 1600m in Conghua saw the horse settle mid-pack and perform adequately. Four weeks ago, this horse ran in a Happy Valley long distance race, jumping slowly but maintaining a steady pace with no noticeable strong sections; finishing third, beaten two lengths – a respectable performance. One barrier trial was completed, though not fully extended. Another turf trial over 2000m has been undertaken, and this time the horse will carry no additional weight, running within a similar time bracket as its group. Drawing an outside barrier, it appears capable of challenging for the lead; provided a clean jump, the intention is to secure a forward position.
