On 13/6, this horse completed a turf trial over 1600m at Conghua in sections of 5-5-5-1, showing an easy stride while making up ground in the final stretch. Four weeks ago, he ran well in a dirt mile race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before finishing with a strong late run. One barrier trial has been completed, demonstrating slight improvement. Switching to Sha Tin over 2000m for this first attempt at the distance, he won’t benefit from any weight reduction and the step up in trip is unfavorable; drawing an outside barrier further compromises his chances. Despite needing to settle back in the field, a good finishing kick is expected, but this run should be considered primarily as a trial."
