Four weeks ago, over a Happy Valley staying distance, the performance was moderate. The start was slow, settling towards the rear, but finished strongly and was beaten three lengths in sixth place. Switching to Sha Tin over 1800m this time, it's a first attempt at this trip with a three-pound weight reduction and an outside barrier draw. A hold-up tactic is expected, however, finishing kick may not be strong enough against the opposition, and the unfavorable positioning could prove challenging. The distance should suit, though, and he’s expected to improve with the run.
