On April 25th (Conghua turf trial, 1200m: 6-5-7), he jumped awkwardly and displayed only an average response when first urged on the straight. On April 8th (Turf Trial 1000m: 9-9-6), he moved out at the 300m mark, responding to urging and making up ground. Another turf trial on March 25th (1000m: 5-6-10) saw him travel prominently but with an awkward gait throughout. On December 17th (Turf Trial 800m: 7-7-4), he bumped at the start and was keen in running, appearing inexperienced. This is his debut as a new arrival, having begun training in Hong Kong last October. He’s had five trials this season with unremarkable results; showing low leg action and short-course speed, but lacks early pace and isn't demonstrating strong acceleration. A minor foot issue was noted before entry, so it’s advisable to observe his first run before forming a strong opinion.
