Starting June 20th (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-1), the horse showed a quick jump and led comfortably. Six weeks ago, in a Happy Valley mile race, he took the lead but appeared tiring. A subsequent barrier trial indicated some improvement. Making his stable debut after a weight loss of thirty-three pounds, he’s returning to Sha Tin for his first run on turf over 1600m this time with a one-pound reduction in weight. Although he has previous form over this distance and is capable of leading, the overall section times were not impressive, presenting an unfavorable scenario. The trainer-jockey combination isn't strong, and the hope is to simply finish closely.
