Three weeks ago, over a Happy Valley mile, the performance was unremarkable; a slow start led to settling at the back of the field. The horse made a mid-race effort but faded near the finish, ultimately losing by three and a half lengths. A subsequent turf trial over 1600m at Sha Tin with a four-pound weight reduction shows comparable times within its group. Tactics will again be to settle towards the rear, possessing the strongest finishing kick of the field. Despite adequate preparation and an unfavorable outside barrier draw, it is expected to run as an outsider with potential for an upset.
