On June 24th (dirt trial 1200m: 3-3-6), the horse faded on the straight and showed little promise. Seven weeks ago, in a Happy Valley 1800m race, he was very disappointing, settling well but lacking a finishing burst. He returned with a poor performance. After a short break, one barrier trial showed insufficient progress. Having lost twenty pounds in body weight, he will now trial on the Sha Tin turf over 1600m this time with a two-pound deduction, but drawing an outside barrier is unfavorable. Despite having comparable times within his group, opportunities appear limited.
