Three weeks ago, over a Sha Tin 1400m race, the performance was below expectations with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. The horse made a mid-race effort but couldn’t maintain momentum. In a recent trial over 1200m on turf, this time with a two-pound weight reduction, the plan is to settle back again. However, the finishing kick was not strong enough compared to rivals and the situation isn't ideal, although the group timing was respectable and could influence the race outcome.
