Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley 1200m, jumping slowly and settling at the rear with an even pace but lacking any significant acceleration. Switching to a Happy Valley sprint distance now for its debut at this trip, it benefits from a two-pound weight reduction, although the distance is not ideal. Drawing a poor barrier necessitates being held up in the run; however, the finishing kick was insufficient against rivals and despite late work, it can only be considered a trial run.
