Three weeks ago, in a race over the same distance, this horse performed well despite a slow start, settling towards the rear before making a strong late run with good sectionals. He finished fifth, beaten two and a half lengths. This time around he has a six-pound weight reduction. The plan is to settle back again this race, however his finishing kick may not be as strong as the opposition, presenting an unfavorable situation. Fortunately, times in his group weren't significantly slower, and he’s been given gatework leading up to the race – proceed with caution.
