On August 30th (turf trial 1000m: 7-10-9), the horse showed little pace during a two-hundred stride test. This is his seasonal debut, and a recent barrier trial didn’t yield any notable performance. He has a one-pound weight reduction for this race, but remains winless in three attempts over this distance. The plan is to settle towards the rear of the field, however, his finishing kick isn't strong enough compared to rivals. While the overall time in his group wasn’t poor and he drew an inside barrier, conditions aren’t favorable for a winning run.
