On August 29th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse maintain a steady pace with moderate prompting, finishing in positions 5-5-4. On August 21st, during a dirt trial also over 1200m at Conghua, it showed an acceptable stride and pace, finishing 3-4-4. This will be its seasonal debut. Two barrier trials have yielded unremarkable results. Further testing on the Sha Tin turf over 1400m reveals a three-pound weight reduction this time; however, the overall timing of its group was not impressive and it has drawn an outside barrier. A weak finishing kick and unfavorable positioning are concerns, even if able to track the early pace, a victory is unlikely.
