On September 5th, (dirt trial 1200m: 6-6-8) showed a lack of further improvement under urging in the final section. Returning after a long break, this is his seasonal debut. He has had one barrier trial which wasn't sufficient preparation. His first run back will be over Sha Tin 1400m turf. He benefits from a three-pound weight reduction this time but his group timing was poor, presenting an unfavorable scenario. However, he has previous form over this distance and drew a good barrier, offering the potential to lead if jumping cleanly with intent to set the pace and secure a forward position.
