On September 5th (dirt trial 1200m, in running position of each section: 6-6-2), the horse made a strong late run on the straight. On August 22nd (dirt trial 1200m, in running position of each section: 6-5-6), there was some urging at the 200m mark with only moderate improvement. Returning after a long break, this is the horse’s first run this season. Two barrier trials have been undertaken, showing slight progress. Body weight has decreased by 41 pounds and will race in a lower class this time. Another turf trial over 1400m at Sha Tin is planned, requiring a 14-pound increase in weight for this race. With good times within the group, a hold-up strategy is expected, demonstrating a strong finishing kick and potential to influence the outcome.
