On September 2nd, (dirt trial 1200m: 6-5-5), the horse responded adequately with some urging. This is his seasonal debut following a barrier trial where he struggled to keep pace. Another turf trial over 1400m was completed; this time needing to carry an additional three pounds. The plan is to settle towards the rear, however, the finishing kick wasn't strong enough compared to rivals and the overall situation isn’t favorable, despite a similar time as other horses in the group and drawing an inside barrier, there doesn’t seem to be a clear strategy.
